45 ~ Timog

Summoned from his southern domains, the god of the south wind Timog rode the austral jetsream towards the northwestern Pacific. But given the long distance, he arrived too late. Sidlakan has become a mere shadow of its former self.

To assuage the warring Habagat and Dumagsa, Timog unleashed a forceful jetstream to counter the swirling mass of the Uracan. Silencing the tempest, the jetstream tore the topmost layers covering the eye.

When the Uracan can no longer harness fuel from the warm waters it traversed, the intense eyewall started to break down. Gradually, it started to weaken. Aided by a chilling gust from the north, the tempest sobered.

In the midst of the warring Habagat and Dumagsa, Timog motioned the two gods to break free from their ire and to rein in cooler heads.
"Enough!"Shouted the god of the southerlies.

"Look at what you have done. There is so much destruction and irreparable damage. Your selfishness and disdain for each other massacred a lot of innocent lives." Uttered Timog...

Snapping out of his raging fury, Habagat looked down below. To his consternation, unable to face the consequence of his actions fled in haste.

Dumagsa turned to face Timog and said, "He will be back. For as long as I am here, I will defend what is rightfully mine." Showing no remorse, Dumagsa retreated and left Timog to gauge the damage the Uracan left behind.

"With greater power comes an even more terrifying thought, a greater abuse of power."
