32 ~ sadness and grief
As he stood on a ledge with the wind blowing against his fur, an all too familiar sense pervaded. He looked around trying to pinpoint where it is coming from. Down below the raging brook he went.
Hidden from plain view under the thick shrubbery is a pile of bones. This has brought him confusion for he could not understand what it is supposed to tell him. But he knows the smell all too well... this is that of his mother...
He then let out a long howl into the wind unable to contain his grief and sadness. This could not be happening, he probably uttered to himself. He did not realize that tears have started to well up and fall down his face.
He could not help but remember how comfortable and secure he felt while he was still in his mother's arms. As to how simple things were and all that he could ever wanted in the world was to be coddled and played upon by his mom. Deep inside he knew that he lost someone profound in his life.
In the course of several days, the wolf would not leave his mother's side. He would not eat or drink. He would just lay there beside that pile of bones almost immobile and emotional. He would not care whether he would be soaked in rain or exposed to the sweltering heat of the sun. He was grieving.
Amidst the underbrush, Lumina gazed at the now grown wolf empathizing at his pain. As a denizen of Amandiwin, she would be continuously watching over him who has now become close to her heart. Life has taken a sharp turn for the orphaned wolf - maturity...
