17 ~ Cruising...

The latent potential of a human mind is something that can't be simply discerned without experiencing first hand the power it holds. A dream or an imagination that is so lucid and vivid can only be best explained as a handiwork of an inherent potency to tap into an unseen and often neglected aspect of reality which we often conform to as a fantasy.

Cruising towards existence is supposed to be straightforward. But if the mind and the heart do not coincide with each other, one lags behind turning the experience into some sort of an ordeal. It took me quite a while to reorient my bearings after having spent quite a considerable time to the reverie of what had transpired. I took my belongings and decided to come to my senses and head back to the real world once more. 

With a heavy heart, I made one last look at Amandiwin and bid my adieu to the spirits which inhabit its hallowed forest grounds. Perhaps, there may come a day when both my feet will take me back within its confines as the spirits come calling. But for now, I will continue my way cruising into the unpredictable waters of reality.

Amidst the roaring sea

Too much time has passed. Though still young, I already feel old at my age. Why do things have to turn out this way? What have I done to merit this kind of life I’m leading now? I am supposed to be happy and content with the things I have achieved. Yet, there is a certain inkling in my heart telling me that I am supposed to be someplace else and that I have something yet to do which will prove the worth of my existence.  I have lost my self-worth in the midst of my journey. on the evening of that same day, with a heavy wounded heart I set out on a stroll. the sky has cleared since then and all that I can see is the wide expanse of the celestial sky filled with a multitude of stars, the pain within could not conceal the grief that extends to the very soul... as I made my way towards a cliff beside the sea, tears flowed out of my eyes obscuring the dimly lit path I looked up once again.
