15 ~ amidst the cerulean depths...

The cave does not seem that much. But as we proceeded further in search for dry earth, farther from the mouth of the cave where it is supposed to become dimmer, there was still light as the sunstone gave an incandescent glow pervading the passage in bluish ethereal light.

Along the way small crystals reflect the faint glow, glistening like minuscule stars which become preponderant the deeper we went inside the cave until we arrived at a chamber encompassed in a crystal lattice, it appears like it is swathed in daylight as shades of blue is being scattered about. It is both fascinating and serene, a perfect place to hide the night away.

I lowered Avryl on the ground letting her head rest on Chase's fur. Tranquil in her stupor, she now looks the exact opposite when she fought Bakkun head on. I caressed her forehead and checked her temperature. She seemed slight feverish so I took off my coat and made her lie on it. I was able to remove her armour so she could be more comfortable. She seems like an angel to my very eyes, chaste and pure.

If there is such a thing as a love at first sight, then this must be what I am feeling right now.

I slid beside her and embraced her tight, give her warmth and protection. A lot of things transpired in such a short span of time. I am still in the process of digesting it all. One thing is for certain though. I am no longer alone...

Sleep my darling angel... Drown your nightmares away into the forgotten realms of your slumber...

Amidst the roaring sea

Too much time has passed. Though still young, I already feel old at my age. Why do things have to turn out this way? What have I done to merit this kind of life I’m leading now? I am supposed to be happy and content with the things I have achieved.
