16 ~ Amandiwin...

Was everything a dream?

I tried sitting up. My head totally hurts. I must have slipped and hit a rock or something like that. Physical pain is short-lived. What has been instilled in the heart and the mind lasts longer. Whether it was a product of an imagination or a dream, the experience is so profound I could still sense the life force of everything and everyone I met in that enchanted reality.

Chase, Avryl, Bakkun...

I look around and to my bewilderment, the trees cast a ghostly bluish afterglow. I am surrounded by tall and towering trees emitting varied shades of bluish light. The patched grasses on the forest floor give off a certain glow too. I cleared my eyes and looked around again, but everything remained the same. It feels chilling yet astonishing. Is there some sort of truth to what I have just seen and experienced. The moment those thoughts left my consciousness, orbs of light lift off the grasses and off the leaves from the trees.

I called out for Chase and Avryl. The orbs fluttered and became unsettled and with the faint breeze, danced congregating in unison, then dispersing at a moment's glance. But all too soon, they vanished into thin air.

"Spirits of Amandiwin, hear my thoughts. Show me your world once more..." I waited for a while anticipating their reply. But it seems they did not take heed, nothing happened...

Still reeling and confused, I succumbed to exhaustion and accepted my defeat unknowing that I still am carrying with me the stone of the sun...
