downstream...
Moving with the flow from a spring to a brook then to a stream to a raging river to empty into a lake or a sea...
Water in nature always flows downstream...
When you are one with the flow, the more turbulence there is... the easier for you to be swept away downstream. Once in the flow, you are immersed in it. Your feelings, your sensations are one with it, the unison of emotions speaking through you...
Where the water goes, you go... The steeper the incline, the faster you move with the flow. In the still plains, you get a reprieve as the flow balances out with the even contours of the plains.
This you misconstrue into believing, you are not moving, seeing life as a bore. But despite the tranquility, the sun, the sky, the zephyr create ripples on the still surface.
One can never say... what is going to happen next...
For life is a mix of stillness and turbulence, slowing down or moving on... gaining momentum or losing ground...
For as long as we are alive, as we keep on moving downstream... we see life in all its shapes and forms...
