Coral garden...
There is a garden I long to see once more...
When I was there the first time, it was a dreamscape, filled with life and youthful joy of friends brought together for one last time to appreciate nature and see for themselves... a garden like no other...
A precious circumstance in time which I surmise may never be bound to happen again in this lifetime.
Laughter, jeers and grimaces shared by converging hearts in that moment and place, relieved the stresses, melting the worries away into the azure waters... the reality of weightlessness perceived...
Furtive glances below the surf revealed an explosion of colors from a plethora of marine life staking their place in the sea, proud and unhindered for they know they are only being marveled at.
And as we leave the water briefly to fill our lungs, genuine smiles were exchanged, sharing the wonders witnessed to dive down again to catch a glimpse of what may never be seen once more together.
The crystal clear depths, the electric blues, the variety of pink and red, the shades of green and vibrant yellows, the lustrous and metallic sheen reflecting the toned down rays of the sun, the profusion of colors analogous to the innumerable dreams that were shared at the time.
Looking back... those feelings still stand to this very day. Despite having taken separate paths, we are continuously realizing our own aspirations in life, staking our place in the sun knowing all too well that if we are to meet once more, we are sure to be reliving the sights and sounds of the coral garden of days past....
