Fleeting memories
The most poignant memories in our lives are often a result of random events that has left a mark in our persona in a way ordinary events fail to enthrall. Such evoke a nostalgic feeling like that of a distinct smell, a certain feel to things and a sense of familiarity to things we have come to miss. Often in our lives we encounter dead ends. Sometimes we feel like we're stuck in a quagmire where any forward action we take becomes futile as we are gradually being pulled into the bog's depths. When perhaps our only means of escape is to surrender to our fate, only then will we realize that in order to flee from the current predicament, we just simply have to treat the bog as a mere stagnated body of water.
